Installation Process for Kaspersky Mobile Security 8.0
We offer two versions of Kaspersky Mobile Security 8.0: Symbian and Windows Mobile.
Kaspersky Mobile Security 8.0 Installation for Symbian
- Make sure that there is no other anti-virus software installed on the phone before you begin.
- Download the installation file.
- From the download link in your order email.
- If the order email link has expired, download from Kaspersky Mobile Security Product Updates
- Copy the program distribution package to your smartphone using one of the following methods:
- Use the Nokia PC Suite to transfer the installer.
- Use a memory expansion card.
- Begin the installation using by either:
- Using the Nokia PC Suite.
- Starting the installation distribution package on the smartphone.
- A prompt will appear on the screen. Select Yes to confirm the installation of the program.
- Review additional information about the program: name, version, certificates. Press Continue.
- If the operating systems and Kaspersky Mobile Security's language versions do not match, a corresponding message will then be displayed on the screen. In order to proceed with the installation in English, press OK.
- Read the License Agreement. If you agree to all terms of the agreement, press OK. If you do not agree with the terms of the License Agreement, press Cancel. Installation of Kaspersky Mobile Security will be terminated.
- Press OK. Kaspersky Mobile Security 8.0 will then be installed on the device. You can start the application after its installation.
Kaspersky Mobile Security 8.0 Activation for Symbian
To start using Kaspersky Mobile Security 8.0 you must activate it first. The activation procedure involves entering the activation code and then receiving a key to be used by the program to determine your rights and the period during which you can use the program. An activation code is a unique set of characters that comes in 4 blocks of 5, separated by a hyphen(-). Each block comprises of 5 characters which can be a combination of letters and numbers, which comes to a total of 20 characters. An activation code should look the following way: XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX.

In order to activate Kaspersky Mobile Security 8.0, perform the following actions:
- Open the device's main menu.
- Switch to the Applications menu.
- Select KMS 8.0 and start the program using the Open item from the Options menu.
- Select Enter code from the Options menu. Kaspersky Mobile Security 8.0 activation window will appear on the smartphone screen.
- Enter the code into the four fields. The activation code consists of Latin alphabet characters and digits (the code is not case-sensitive).
- After you have entered the activation code, select Activate in the Options menu.
- When you request an access point, select the connection type to be used to connect to the server.
The program will send an http query to Kaspersky Lab's activation server and will then download and install the key file.
If the activation code you entered appears invalid for any reason, a corresponding message will be displayed on your smartphone's screen. If the key file installation is successful, information about the license will be displayed on the screen. To start using the program press OK.
Kaspersky Internet Security Installation for Windows Mobile
- Make sure that there is no other anti-virus software installed on the phone before you begin.
- Download the installation file.
- From the download link in your order email.
- If the order email link has expired, download from Kaspersky Mobile Security Product Updates
- Copy the cab archive with program installation package to your mobile device. You can do it using one of the following methods:
- Using Microsoft ActiveSync application.
- Using a memory expansion card.
- Run installation (open the cab archive with the distribution package on your mobile device).
- Read the License Agreement. If you agree to all the terms, press OK. Kaspersky Mobile Security 8.0 will then be installed on the device. If you do not agree with the terms of the License Agreement, press Cancel.
- After the installation a message with a recommendation to reboot the device will be displayed. To reboot the device, press Reboot or, if you do not wish to restart the device now, press Cancel.

- Select Programs from the Start menu.
- Select KMS8 and start the program using your stylus or the central button of your joystick.
- Select Enter code in the window that will open. The Kaspersky Mobile Security 8.0 activation window will open on the device's screen.
- Enter the code into the four fields. Press the Activate button after you have entered the activation code.
- The program will send an http query to Kaspersky Lab activation server and will then download and install the key.
